SEKOLAH KEBANGSAAN PUTRAJAYA PRESINT 9(1)

SK Putrajaya Precinct 9 (1), (formerly known as SK Putrajaya 2) is one of the earliest schools in Putrajaya and one of the Smart Schools in Malaysia and was recognized as a Cluster School in 2009.

The construction of this school started in the middle of 1998 and was fully ready for use on 17th January 2002, and is known as Sekolah Kebangsaan Putrajaya 2. The honor of being the first Headmaster was given to En Sukimin Bin Juki who started working on 24 December 1999. On 6 January 2000, 6 teachers reported for duty and this number has increased since then. As of October 9, 2000, the number of teachers is 59.
Student registration began on the 12th and 13th of January 2000. On the first day of school, which was on the 17th of January 2000, the number of students was 193. The students at this school are children of employees of various ministries who have moved to Putrajaya. Most of them live in Putrajaya.
